Too many people think that because drugs are only affecting their body then it should be their choice. Are drug users really "only hurting themselves"? Let's start with the bigger picture...
In regards to society...When drug use increases, so does crime and violence. Insurance costs and taxes increase due to the number of people seeking help who can't pay for it. Innocent people become victims because of other people's bad choices. Children become orphans, both real and figuratively.
In regards to your friends...relationships and friendships are broken. Someone you know could be killed in an accident because someone else was high. Someone you know could be hurt or killed because they were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.
In regards to your family...families are torn apart by drug use. I have read many of your comments over the last couple of weeks and many of you have encountered the pain of a family member who has used drugs. Think what would happen to your family if you used drugs. Would life go on as it always has? Watch the following video...

If you become addicted to drugs, you are not only hurting yourself. You are hurting your family, friends, and the world in which you live. Is that how you want to be remembered?
Make a change in this world for the better...

QUESTION SEVEN: If your best friend were to start using drugs, how would that affect you?

i would tell them to stop or i will make them stop by telling thier parents and see what will happen. they would get in trouble. but i would of did something right
If my best friend started using drugs i would be mad because she is ruining her life and probably she might die too and I dont want to lose a friend. I would try to stop her but If it wont help I will do anything I can to get her to stop and if her parents dont know i will go tell them so they know that thier daughter is using drugs and that she is ruining her life.
If my friends started using drugs it would affect me because they are my friends i would start to do drugs and them i would effect more peopl witch would go on and on and evantually we would all be effecting other people in our environment around us so drugs would effectme because when you start you can never change what you have done.

If my friend started using drugs i would go to her parents and tell them that their son/daughter has been abusing drugs. If my friend started using drugs I would want to help them. One hit will hurt and tear your whole life apart without you knowing it. You should help your friend and help them so they don't get to addicted. For me it wouldn't tear our friendship apart because I know that I could get them help. There is no reason for somebody not to get help. If you found out your friend was doing drugs..... you should help them. One hit could ruin your life forever.

I don't think they would but if they did I'm sure it would tear apart our clique and, It would only result in the semi-saddening loss of one of my friends. I'd try to steer clear of them and not get involved with their addiction. Self-restraint I really do think is an important quality in someone that could be my future acquantence. I don't see the point in drugs, it really only causes deaths and ill-feelings toward a drug user and people around him. If he/she were to stop I would forgive them and stay friends, and we could leave the past behind. Thanks for Taking the time to read my opinions.

If my best friend started doing drugs It would affect me cause i care about my friends and i dont want to see ANY of them ruin their life by getting mixed up in something that would hurt them forever!!!
the vidio was sad.There are people in this world that i know that are doing drugs...... there is no reson for them to be in the worst place that somebody could be in. One hit will kill you. Even if they say it won't hurt you it will. So if you do drugs tell somebody.
It would hurt me in always excspecaily if hey were my best friend because peoples feelings matter to me to and it would hurt to watch somebody destroying there life and family. And you can never foget wat your friend did. Even if he/she dies and i would have the guilt of not helping him/her get the help they would need

I think that if my best friend started using drugs i would spend most of my time around her to show her that drugs arent the way to deal with stress. I would take her to the movies, then to other places that she thinks would be fun, proving that life is not worth sickening yourself and increasing cancer and othe life changing illnesses. I would show her that she has friends and familly who care about her. My dad used to smoke, but it made his athsma worse, so he quit. If that didnt stop her i would find pictures and show her what she was doing to herself, and if I still didnt succeed I would confront her parents and the councelors at school so that she could get the proper care she needed to stop.
how it would affect me is that if my friend was in pain all the time from withdrawls or from other effects of the drug then i would be hurting in the inside my friend would be dying from the drugs affects on his/hers internal organs
and my freind could overdose and die and then i would be really sad and i would have one less freind and i would no longer have a best freind if my best friend died because of an overdose but if she didnt die she would still be in alot of pain and i would talk to her about how she was hurting me by taking the drug and she would probably ask me how she was hurting me if it was her body i would say that it was hurting my feelings because she could kill herself and hopefully she would agree to have some counciling to help quit the drug and if she died i wouldnt handel it very well
If my best friend did drugs I would tell some one fast and make sure they now what I am talking about and make sure they do something and if they don't and I see a police officer I would tell the police officer. The officer would do something about it and I know it.If i was a police officer then I would do something about it cause kids should not do drugs and alcohol.They would be in very deep trouble!!!They will ruin thier lifes and ruin thier families lifes also.They should not do it anyway.
if my friend started to do drugs then i will tell thwm to stop because it can miss up your life!! and that i well be worried for then and try to convents them to at lest stop. and fo0r them to tell there parents.
i would distance them . however i would tell someone so they can get help.
if my best friend started to use drugs i would freak out because drugs hurt you and every one around you i would go telll an adult before they get in to any more trouble or hurt themselves because drugs are horribly bad for you!i would tell them that if they wanted to stay my friend they would have to stop using drugs forever!!!!
Doing drugs ruins your chance of achieveing your goals and doing your best in school.
