***STUDENT OF THE MONTH***
You may be wondering what "Student of the Month" is...
Those good at school work and sports get rewarded all of the time for their accomplishments. I think this is great, but I want to award students for good choices and actions....choices and actions taken when they don't know someone is watching.
Starting in October, I am accepting nominations for "Student of the Month". Anyone can nominate (teachers, students, parents...). Simply send me an e-mail with the full name of the student and what they did that impressed you. You can easily e-mail me by clicking on "Contact Information".
Another option is to come by my office at the school. I will have some cards where you can write the information and a fishbowl where I will keep all of the nominations until the end of the month.

At the end of the month, I will assign each nomination a number and take off the names. I will then have a panel of selected individuals select which nomination should be "Student of the Month". In this way I can make certain that students are being selected for the nominated action and not because of who they are.
Several businesses have partnered with me to provide passes and awards for the selected student. Each "Student of the Month" will receive two free passes to Laser Mania as well as their choice of another prize package from Bowladrome, NazzKart, or Skateland.
